These are the works that I collaborate with other professionals. They are groups engaged with subjects that I explore in my works as environment, interactivity, mobility, music, architecture, robotics and hacking systems. Each component have its own background and in a collaborative environment each one have their inputs, working as a lab.

GEMA
Grupo Experimental Multidisciplinar Autônomo = G.E.M.A. is an artist-led conceptual framework that acts as an open interdisciplinary interface to explore the city of Rio de Janeiro and its environs with collaboration of international research partners of arts, sciences and technology. GEMA was idealized by the artists Ivan Henriques in collaboration with urban designer Aline Couri, designer Rodrigo Amim amongst others. GEMA aims is to engage the public in the urban and natural environment through collaborative site-specific public and live arts, interventions and education programs. Everyone is invited to collaborate to this network.

Performance at Oscar Niemeyer Foundation, Niterói, RJ (BR)
Kuarasy O Berab (‘‘The Sun Shine’ in ancient Tupi – laguage of some brazilian natives) is a multimedia group with Ivan Henriques, Aline Couri and Rodrigo Amim. Depending on the situation, other artists join to the presentations. Each presentation is a unique event, where new music and ambient sounds are created. Inspired in Indians rituals, the sound is repeated in a hypnotic way, with the intuition to reach higher conscience of the mind. More than soundscapes, they create mechanisms of projections, kinetic sound objects and immersive ambient. Kuarasy manifests itself in many forms (luminous tents, speaker wall, objects…) and in different spaces (concrete oca, castles, museums…). The circumstance modifies the sound that never repeats.

OVERHEAD-PROJECTOR-WATERPUMP-SYSTEM
I met Chistian Faubel and Georg Dietzler in the mountains in Romanmôntier, Switzerland (CH). We all were part of an international group invited to make part of HackteriaLab 2011. It was a great time and we had longs discussions while walking in the forest. We were asking ourselves how could we engage the local public (from Romanmôntier) to have an audiovisual experience in the forest. I have been working with audio and video and after creating EME>> I always had the question of how could we make facilities for artists as me, Christian and Gerorg to have more possibilities to realize public artworks using technology but at the same time being coherent with the environment. How a mobile-audiovisual-tool for performance could be? How to improve self-sustainable sources of energy?

Christian brought his mobile audiovisual gear to Switzerland and I developed an automat waterpump-system at the HackteriaLab. I created a feedback system with the water (an also some microorganisms) from the waterfall, pumping it back to the river. We were projecting the flux of water with the overhead-projector, playing with drops of water onto some piezzos covered with bee wax and the robots that Christian developed. Great jam!
